Man Dies After Car Rolls Over Him in Jerusalem's Bukharim Neighborhood

A man in his 30s was critically injured and later died after being struck by his own car, which rolled over him in Jerusalem's Bukharim neighborhood on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred on Adoniyahu HaKohen Street, where according to eyewitnesses, the driver exited his vehicle and the car began to roll, hitting him. Emergency services received the report at 16:03 about a vehicle collision with a fence. Upon arrival, paramedics found the man unconscious, without pulse or breathing, suffering severe head and chest injuries. He was extracted from under the vehicle and underwent prolonged resuscitation efforts before being rushed to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Magen David Adom motorcycle medic Eli Raymond described the victim as trapped and critically injured, with life-saving treatment provided on site and en route to the hospital. United Hatzalah responders Israel Litzman and Chaim David Goldman, assisted by a doctor, also performed resuscitation during evacuation. The circumstances of the accident are currently under investigation.
