We all remember what the first game looked like. Without spectators, in a bleak atmosphere and complete silence, but tonight the Toto Hall in Holon shook in the opening minutes thanks to an excellent display of support from both fan bases.
Unfortunately for the home fans, their team did not start the game well at all, as Maccabi Tel Aviv raced to a quick double-digit lead, largely thanks to a superb performance by Jaylen Hoard, who finished the first 10 minutes with 14 points and 6 rebounds.
The yellow team continued to control the game afterward thanks to good play from Iffe Lundberg, but a late comeback by the purple team made it a 10-point game at halftime, despite shooting very poorly from beyond the arc, with only 3 three-pointers made on 14 attempts.
