Moshe Feiglin Denounces Mansour Abbas as a Threat to Israel in Channel 14 Investigation

Moshe Feiglin, chairman of the Zehut party, responded sharply to a Channel 14 investigative report by journalist Omri Haim about Mansour Abbas, leader of the Ra'am party. Feiglin declared that the investigation disproves the notion of a "civilized jihad," asserting that Abbas and the Islamic Movement are not legitimate partners in the Israeli government but enemies working from within the Knesset to dismantle the Jewish state.

Feiglin compared Abbas and the Islamic Movement to the terrorist group Hezbollah, calling them "two arms of the same octopus" with the shared goal of destroying Israel, differing only in their methods, one using weapons on the ground, the other political influence in the Knesset. He highlighted footage from the report where Abbas refers to Jews as "invaders" and denies their rights to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, emphasizing the absurdity of legitimizing such a figure politically.

Criticizing both right- and left-wing Israeli leadership, Feiglin accused them of enabling Abbas for political gain, calling this partnership a "moral and security bankruptcy." He warned that including Ra'am in the government endangers Israel's future. Feiglin urged the political and judicial systems to reject those who deny the Jewish people's right to their land from parliamentary participation.

As a solution, Feiglin proposed Zehut's plan to eradicate this phenomenon constitutionally and strategically. He pledged to introduce a Basic Law declaring Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people exclusively, aiming to protect minority rights only if they recognize the state's Jewish identity and to exclude those undermining it. Nationally, he called for full sovereignty over all Israeli territory and restoring Jewish ownership of the Temple Mount, concluding that Israel must stop apologizing for its identity and assert its sovereignty to deter internal and external enemies.
