Ilan Brook to Step Down as CEO of HOT Mobile Following Sale Completion
Ilan Brook, CEO of HOT Mobile, announced his decision to step down after seven years leading the company and approximately 15 years with the HOT Group. Brook, a co-founder of HOT Mobile, was appointed CEO in 2019 after serving as deputy CEO of the business division at HOT Group and deputy sales director at HOT Mobile. He will remain in his role until the sale of HOT Mobile to new owners, including Delek Israel, Keystone Capital, and Bank Leumi, is finalized. During this transition period, Brook will ensure management continuity to facilitate a smooth ownership transfer.
Under Brook's leadership, HOT Mobile grew to over two million subscribers, increased revenues and average revenue per user (ARPU), and doubled its EBITDA. The company also expanded its 5G network deployment and integrated artificial intelligence solutions into its service operations. Brook expressed pride in the company’s growth and innovation, emphasizing the exceptional team he led and thanking employees, management, customers, and business partners for their support.
HOT Group CEO Tal Granot praised Brook as an outstanding, professional, and committed leader who strengthened HOT Mobile’s business and technological capabilities. Granot highlighted Brook’s ability to unite and inspire his team and wished him success in his future endeavors. The sale of HOT Mobile has been approved by the Israeli Competition Authority, marking a significant milestone in the company’s ownership transition.
