Three Teenagers Arrested for Violent Robbery at Holon Business After Demanding Money

Three minors aged 15 to 16, residents of Holon and Tel Aviv of Eritrean descent, were arrested and charged following a violent robbery at a business on Sokolov Street in Holon. The suspects, allegedly members of the "SSQ" street gang, first attacked the business on July 27, 2026, by throwing objects at the entrance and causing significant damage. The next day, July 28, around 5:30 p.m., they returned demanding money from the owner. When he refused, the situation escalated into a brutal physical assault.

Security footage shows the suspects aggressively confronting the business owner, with one wielding a heavy blunt object resembling a wooden club. The owner sustained injuries to his upper body during the attack, and the premises suffered extensive damage. Police from the Holon station responded promptly after receiving the emergency call, conducting forensic evidence collection, witness interviews, and reviewing surveillance footage.

Thanks to swift police action, the three teenagers were quickly identified, arrested, and interrogated. Their detention was repeatedly extended by the court until sufficient evidence was gathered, leading to formal indictments and a request to keep them in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings. The case remains under investigation by the Tel Aviv District Youth Prosecution Unit.
