Three Minors Indicted for Armed Robbery and Assault in Holon by SSQ Gang
Three minors aged 15 to 16, allegedly members of the SSQ gang, have been indicted for robbing a business owner in Holon and causing significant property damage. According to the indictment filed on Thursday by the Tel Aviv District Youth Prosecution Unit, the suspects first vandalized the business by throwing objects at its entrance door, causing damage. The following day, they returned to demand money from the owner. When he refused, they assaulted him, inflicting injuries to his upper body.
The incident was reported about a week ago, prompting police to investigate and apprehend the three suspects, residents of Holon and Tel Aviv. They were interrogated at the Holon police station and subsequently detained. Their detention has been extended multiple times by the court pending the conclusion of legal proceedings.
The indictment was submitted alongside a request to keep the minors in custody until the end of the trial. The case highlights ongoing concerns about youth gang violence in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area and the efforts of law enforcement to address such crimes.
