Israeli Police Arrest Third Suspect in Armed Robbery Near Salfit After Two Weeks on the Run

Israeli police have arrested a third suspect in connection with an armed robbery that took place near Salfit in the West Bank on May 26. According to the police, three suspects blocked the victim's vehicle around 4 p.m. and approached him armed, forcibly taking money from him. The investigation began immediately after the incident was reported.

Earlier, two suspects in their twenties from the Samaria region were detained but later released under restrictive conditions by court order. The third suspect, also a man in his twenties from the same area, had been evading capture for approximately two weeks before his arrest by detectives from the inter-organizational command in the Judea and Samaria district.

Following his arrest, the third suspect was brought before the court and released under restrictive conditions until August 11 to allow the investigation to continue. Police confirmed that the inquiry into the case is ongoing.
