Israeli Songwriter Noam Horev Launches Emotional 'Mape Nakom' Exhibit at Azrieli Towers

Israeli songwriter and creator Noam Horev discussed his new project 'Mape Nakom' during a live broadcast with Channel 14 news anchor Tal Meir. The exhibit, created in collaboration with photographer Ziv Koren, is displayed on the rooftop of the Azrieli Towers in Tel Aviv and reflects on the events of October 7. Horev described the experience as a moving journey through 10 stations, where visitors enter hunched over and gradually straighten up, symbolizing emotional healing and hope.

Since its opening, tens of thousands of people from across Israeli society have visited the exhibit. Horev emphasized that from the start, he and Koren wanted the project to focus not only on pain but also on providing strength and hope to visitors. One station highlights the importance of unity and mutual responsibility among Israelis.

Horev shared that witnessing visitors' emotional reactions, including tears and renewed hope, has become a meaningful part of his involvement. During the interview, Horev invited Tal Meir for a private tour of the exhibit, to which she enthusiastically agreed. The exhibit has also been visited by notable figures such as Gilad Almagor, a survivor of captivity, who described it as one of the most chilling experiences she has encountered. The project aims to ensure that the memory of the October 7 events remains vivid and that the public does not forget the impact of that day.
