Five-Year-Old Boy Resuscitated After Drowning in Negev Pool, Condition Critical
Medical teams from United Hatzalah performed resuscitation on a five-year-old boy who drowned in a public pool in the community of Omer, near Beersheba. Moshe Algarbeli, a United Hatzalah medic who was first on the scene, reported that with the help of other medics, they carried out resuscitation efforts. Miraculously, the boy's heartbeat returned, and he was transported to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. He remains sedated and on a ventilator in serious condition.
