Family Establishes New Settlement Hill in Memory of Murdered Binyahu After Home Fire

The Breuer family, whose home was destroyed in a fire at the Gilad Farm, has transformed their tragedy into action by founding a new settlement hill named Tel Binyahu. This decision followed the murder of family member Binyahu Malat, which the family described as a turning point that motivated them to establish a new settlement outpost.

Batia Breuer told Channel 7 that the fire and the murder led the family to leave their comfort zone and move forward with creating a new community in Israel. Work on the new hill began immediately after the murder, and by Friday, three families had already moved to the site. Breuer emphasized that Binyahu had long believed in expanding settlements, and his death solidified their resolve to realize this vision.

Currently, three families reside at Tel Binyahu, located between Gilad Farm and Yitzhar near Beitar Shesh. The family aims to develop it into a permanent settlement. Despite the rapid destruction of their previous home by fire, the family remains determined to continue building and invited the public to visit, support, and help construct the new community. "We are moving forward, God willing," Breuer said, encouraging people to come and strengthen the settlers at Tel Binyahu.
