Four Soldiers Sentenced to Military Prison for Yemen Field Mutiny

Disciplinary proceedings concluded on Tuesday for four soldiers involved in a mutiny incident within the Sabra Battalion at the Yemen Field military base. Three soldiers, identified as the leaders of the mutiny, were each sentenced to 30 days of military imprisonment. Alongside their prison terms, they were immediately discharged from combat roles and reassigned out of combat service. A fourth soldier, who was involved while on release leave, was sentenced to 20 days of imprisonment and received the same immediate discharge from combat duties. These rulings mark the end of the military trials for the remaining four soldiers implicated in the event, all of whom face imprisonment and removal from combat positions. The three leaders received the harshest penalties, while the fourth, tried during his leave, received a slightly lighter prison sentence but identical non-combat reassignment.
