Over 10,000 Celebrate Pride at Ofir Nissim's Tel Aviv Party
Thousands attended Ofir Nissim’s annual Pride celebration at Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv over the Pride weekend, with the production saying 16,000 people came to the event. The popular DJ kept the tradition going despite the difficult security backdrop and returned to the stage for the large-scale party.
The show featured several well-known Israeli performers. Shiri Maimon joined Nissim for a live performance of their new song, “Tistakel Li BaEinayim” (“Look Me in the Eyes”). Anna Zak appeared with her dancers and performed “Fix Me.” Frida also took the stage, teaming up with Maya Simantov for “Superman.”
Earlier in the week, amid the Iranian attack, there had been consideration of postponing the massive event organized by Nissim and producer Shimon Shirazi. In the end, after a return to routine, the organizers decided to hold the party as planned.
