Zenity Raises $125 Million to Secure AI Agents Amid Rapid Industry Growth
Zenity, an Israeli startup specializing in AI agent security, announced a $125 million Series C funding round led by Norwest Venture Partners, with participation from new investors Qumra Capital, SoftBank Hitachi Ventures, and LG Technology Ventures, alongside existing backers including DTCP, Vertex Ventures, Third Point Ventures, and Intel Capital. The majority of the funds will support the company’s ongoing operations and growth, while about $10 million will be used for secondary share purchases from employees and founders. This round brings Zenity’s total capital raised to approximately $185 million.
Founded in 2021 by former Unit 8200 veterans Ben Kliger (CEO) and Michael Bergori (CTO), who previously worked together at Microsoft on cloud and OT security products, Zenity now employs over 230 people globally, with around 150 based in Israel. Its R&D center is located in Tel Aviv, while marketing, sales, and operations are managed from New York. The company’s client roster includes Israeli firms such as Clalit Health Services, Amdocs, Pioneer, Veronis, and Telit, as well as Fortune 500 companies worldwide.
Zenity’s platform addresses new security challenges posed by AI agents by analyzing their intended actions in real time, allowing organizations to approve, modify, or block activities dynamically based on context before execution. It distinguishes legitimate AI agent behavior from manipulation or misuse, enabling enforcement of organizational policies and full visibility into AI agent operations. The platform supports a wide range of AI agents, including Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Gemini, Claude, Codex, Cursor, and custom autonomous AI systems developed internally by enterprises.
CEO Ben Kliger emphasized the explosive growth of AI adoption across sectors and the critical importance of securing AI agents for successful implementation. He noted Zenity’s rapid revenue growth into the tens of millions of dollars and its position as a leading company in the field, expanding at hundreds of percent annually. Kliger highlighted Zenity’s competitive edge stemming from its operational environment, experience, and research capabilities, which he says surpass many smaller competitors.
The company plans to continue scaling rapidly in the coming year as the AI security market expands and competition intensifies.
