Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch Sends Special Envoy to Warsaw to Pray Against Torah Community Decree

In a rare and significant event, Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch, a leading Torah authority, recently dispatched a special envoy to the city of Warsaw, Poland. The mission was directed to the head of the yeshiva, Rabbi Yitzchak Pishaoff, who was asked to travel to Warsaw on the 21st of Av, the yahrzeit of Rabbi Chaim of Brisk and the anniversary of Rabbi Nosson Tzvi Finkel of Volozhin, both buried there. Rabbi Hirsch requested that Rabbi Pishaoff pray fervently at their graves for the annulment of a severe decree threatening the Torah world.

Rabbi Pishaoff immediately accepted the task and preparations for his flight to Poland began at once. This special mission follows a previous incident when a grave decree loomed over the Torah community. At that time, Rabbi Aharon Leib Shteinman, the revered leader of the diaspora, instructed Rabbi Shmuel Yaakov Bornstein, the head of the yeshiva, to visit the same holy sites in Warsaw to pray for the cancellation of the decree. Rabbi Bornstein fulfilled this mission successfully, and the decree was lifted.

Alongside praying for the Torah community, Rabbi Hirsch will also offer special prayers for the donors of "Kupat Ha'ir," a charitable fund strongly supported by Torah leaders. He will pray that these donors merit to learn Torah deeply and purely, free from any harm or interference. Rabbi Hirsch is expected to pray with great emotion and tears at the gravesites, imploring divine mercy for all Torah scholars and supporters.
