MK Almog Cohen Condemns Racist Remarks by Doctor Against Mizrahi Likud Voters

MK Almog Cohen responded sharply on Monday to revelations by the news site Srugim about a series of offensive posts attributed to Dr. Dovby Laksman targeting Mizrahi voters who support the Likud party. In a video statement, Cohen criticized Laksman's use of derogatory terms comparing Likud voters to various types of monkeys and his disparaging references to Mizrahi and Moroccan Israelis. Laksman, a specialist in women's health and surgical gynecology at the IHA Medical Network and Assuta clinics, reportedly faced suspension following the exposure of his posts.
