Hapoel Tel Aviv Trials Former Kiryat Shmona Left Back Amid Signing Delays

Hapoel Tel Aviv is actively preparing for the upcoming league season under coach Eliniv Breda, focusing on strengthening their squad. One key position they aim to reinforce is left back, due to delays in signing their primary target, Yehav Gurfinkel, who is currently sought after by Hodorov. As a result, Bilal Shahin, a 23-year-old former player of Ironi Kiryat Shmona, has joined Hapoel for trials and has been training with the team since yesterday. If he impresses, Shahin is expected to sign as a backup to Doron Leidner. Shahin is currently a free agent after his contract with Kiryat Shmona ended this summer. Notably, he will not be traveling with Hapoel to Hungary for their upcoming Conference League third qualifying round match against Katowice. The club is preparing alternatives in case Gurfinkel does not finalize his move.
