IDF Continues Targeted Killings in Gaza, Eliminates Three Militants Behind Planned Attacks
Despite reports of a ceasefire aimed at advancing a Hamas disarmament agreement, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have continued targeted killings in the Gaza Strip. On Saturday, the IDF confirmed that three militants were killed in two separate strikes across Gaza. In an operation in Gaza City, two militants were eliminated: Laa Amad Hamis Tramsi from the Islamic Jihad's "Al-Quds Brigades" and Hassan Ibrahim Shahda Kahman from the Islamic Jihad Movement. Another strike last week in northern Gaza killed Ahmad Hadari, a militant from Hamas's Jabaliya Battalion.
The IDF stated that all three militants were actively involved in planning terrorist attacks against Israeli forces and civilians, and their elimination was necessary to neutralize the threat. The Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue operations to remove any threats to Israeli security.
