Hapoel Tel Aviv Fans Purchase 2,000 Tickets for Polish Match Against Katowice

Following two impressive victories over Ludogorets, Hapoel Tel Aviv is aiming for a spot in the UEFA Conference League, marking their first European competition appearance since the 2012/13 season. The team's strong performances have been bolstered by significant fan support, with a large turnout for matches in Hungary and Bulgaria. Ahead of their third qualifying round match against Polish side Katowice, 2,000 tickets were sold to Hapoel Tel Aviv supporters, while the Polish fans were allocated a minimum of 600 tickets.

Katowice finished fifth in their domestic league last season and have a squad valued at approximately 13.2 million euros, comparable to Hapoel Tel Aviv's estimated 13.6 million euros. A notable player for Katowice is Belarusian striker Ilya Shkurin, who previously played for Israeli club Maccabi Petah Tikva, scoring 14 goals in 30 appearances. Shkurin was the top scorer for Katowice last season with nine goals and played a key role in their recent victory over Žilina, which secured their advancement and set up the upcoming clash with Hapoel Tel Aviv.
