Last season, the club's budget was approximately 9 million shekels, just above the league's minimum requirement of 8 million shekels, which must be secured by August 31. The Canadian investment was anticipated to improve the club's financial standing. However, sources close to the club report that talks have recently stalled due to difficulties in transferring funds, compounded by bureaucratic challenges related to Canadian laws on donations to Israel. These issues, not unique to sports, have delayed the completion of the investment and the inflow of funds.
