Daniel Amit and Emily Damari Request Guests Avoid Red at Their Wedding

Daniel Amit and Emily Damari are set to marry on August 27 at the Sheva hall in Tel Aviv, less than a month away. Despite the wedding date being public, their invitation has now revealed an unusual request: guests are asked not to wear red clothing, and female guests are specifically forbidden from wearing red lipstick. This request stems from Damari's passionate support for the Maccabi Tel Aviv football team, whose colors are blue and yellow. Damari reportedly could not bear to see red on her special day, and Amit agreed to the request. The wedding invitation itself is designed in blue and yellow, reflecting Damari's devotion to the team.

This is not the first time the couple has intertwined their celebrations with their love for Maccabi Tel Aviv. In their "Save the Date" video, they appeared in the team's stands alongside Gali and Ziv Berman, Damari's close friends and fellow former hostages from Kfar Aza, who are also fans of the club. The couple's relationship became public over a year ago on Shavuot Eve 2022 through Instagram stories by Amit, and since then they have maintained a strong and heartfelt partnership.

Damari, who was held captive and later celebrated her return, proposed to Amit during a party marking her release about six months ago. Three months later, during a trip to the Netherlands, Amit reciprocated with a ring. Damari also appears in the latest season of the documentary series "Connected," which offers insights into various aspects of their relationship.
