Iran Says Memorandum With U.S. May Be Signed in Coming Days
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said it is possible that a memorandum of understanding with the United States will be signed in the coming days. Speaking on the timing, he said, "We will have to wait and see regarding the exact time of signing the memorandum."
Baghaei stressed that it will not happen tomorrow, but added that he cannot rule out the possibility that it could take place in the next few days. He cautioned that "we must exercise extreme caution" as the timetable remains uncertain.
The remarks suggest that discussions between Tehran and Washington are still ongoing, but no specific signing date has been set.
