Israeli Actress Yuval Levkovsky Returns Home After Netflix Success in France

Yuval Levkovsky, an Israeli actress who starred in the French Netflix film "Bourgeois" and other European productions, has chosen to return to Israel to pursue her acting career locally. Levkovsky, now 28, survived a stabbing attack in London at age 18, an event that deeply influenced her outlook on life and motivated her to follow her dreams. After completing her military service in Israel as a shooting instructor, she moved to France to study acting despite initially not speaking French. She was accepted into the prestigious Cours Florent acting school in Paris and quickly advanced.

Levkovsky gained recognition in France, especially after her lead role in the Netflix film "Bourgeois," where she became well-known among young audiences and Jewish communities. However, the October 7 terror attack in Israel prompted her to return home temporarily and reconnect with her roots. Since returning, Levkovsky has appeared in the Israeli series "Inna" on yes and two Haredi cinema films. Her breakthrough in Israel came with the web series "Lo Nigmar" (Not Over), which realistically portrays the aftermath of a breakup and resonated strongly with viewers. Levkovsky describes the experience of acting in Israel as uniquely fulfilling, allowing her family to watch and support her work firsthand.
