Mothers of 'Married at First Sight' Couple Celebrate Birth of First Grandchild

Sophie Daniel Benjamin and Dor Oz Cohen, participants of the Israeli reality show "Married at First Sight," recently celebrated the birth of their first son, Eitan Yitzhak. The families and friends from the show gathered earlier this month for the baby's brit milah ceremony. The proud grandmothers, Galit Benjamin and Tzvia Oz Cohen, spoke to the program "Galit and Ilanit" about the unexpected joy their children's union brought, describing it as a miracle and expressing their happiness as new grandmothers.

Galit shared her disbelief that the couple's meeting under the wedding canopy would lead to a grandchild, calling it a dream come true. Tzvia described the baby as a surprise and a cosmic connection that has brought immense joy throughout the year. Both grandmothers emphasized their love for each other and their excitement about the new family addition.

Regarding Sophie and Dor as parents, Galit praised Dor's natural care for the baby and called Sophie a lioness mother who handled childbirth with great strength. Tzvia added that they are amazing parents who have embraced parenthood with love and joy, with the whole family ready to support them. When asked who the baby resembles more, the grandmothers agreed he looks like both parents, jokingly calling him "Sophie Dor."

The grandmothers also discussed the couple's quick progression, noting Sophie became pregnant just a few months after they met, which they consider a blessing. The atmosphere at the brit milah was described as joyful and reminiscent of a wedding celebration but with the addition of their new little family member.

Additionally, Niv Argov, another bride from the show, attended the celebration with her parents, sharing her emotional experience of the pregnancy and personal growth following a relationship crisis. She spoke about the importance of communicating feelings openly, both to herself and to her partner, highlighting the challenges of expressing love languages within relationships.
