Four Top Romanian Clubs Monitor Beitar Jerusalem Midfielder Omer Atzili

Omer Atzili's impressive performances for Beitar Jerusalem continue to attract attention abroad, with four leading Romanian clubs closely following the midfielder. Representatives from Steaua Bucharest, Dinamo Bucharest, Craiova, and Cluj attended Beitar's recent Conference League qualifier match against AEK Larnaca in Ploiești, where Beitar won 4-3 on penalties after a 3-3 draw over 120 minutes. These Romanian teams are considering a potential transfer for Atzili in the near future.

A key factor facilitating a possible move is Atzili's Romanian passport, which allows him to register as a local player rather than a foreigner, an important advantage in Romanian league regulations. Atzili previously utilized his European passport during his stint with Al Ain in the UAE. Currently, Atzili is under contract with Beitar Jerusalem until summer 2027, but from January he will be permitted to negotiate with clubs outside Israel as his contract approaches its end.
