Diplomatic Source Details Comprehensive Plan to Eliminate Terror Infrastructure in Gaza
A diplomatic source involved in negotiations between mediators and Hamas revealed details of a developing roadmap aimed at dismantling all terror infrastructure in the Gaza Strip. According to the source, the plan includes the destruction of tunnels, weapons caches, and weapons manufacturing facilities, ultimately leaving Gaza free of terror infrastructure.
The roadmap also envisions placing all weapons in Gaza, both heavy and light, under the full control of the NCAG (the Palestinian Authority's security apparatus), coordinated and supported by the Israeli Security Forces (ISF). Leadership of this effort will be assigned to a two-star American general from the US Special Forces.
A key principle of the plan is reciprocity, with no reliance on trust between the parties. Instead, each side’s commitments will trigger reciprocal actions from the other side. The diplomatic source described this as a new beginning for Gaza, noting that it took considerable time to reach this stage. The initiative is inspired by former President Donald Trump's comprehensive peace plan for Gaza, which aims to provide a better future for Gaza’s population and security for Israel.
