Support Convoy Escorts 63 Released Haredi Men After Supreme Court Judge Solberg Home Break-In

On Thursday afternoon, a convoy of dozens of vehicles accompanied 63 Haredi men who were released after being detained in connection with the break-in at the home of Supreme Court Judge Noam Solberg. The convoy traveled from Beit Shemesh to Jerusalem, where a large welcoming event was held at Kikar HaShabbat, attended by thousands including rabbis and public figures.

Some of the released men had served prison sentences in a military jail after being classified as deserters. Upon arrival near Brandeis Street in Jerusalem, those who had served time were expected to board a truck to continue the procession to Kikar HaShabbat, where all 63 men were honored.

A central stage was set up at Kikar HaShabbat for speeches of encouragement by rabbis and dignitaries. The event was coordinated with the Israel Police, and several nearby streets including Malchei Yisrael, Yechezkel, and Strauss were closed to traffic in preparation for the convoy and attendees. The convoy's departure was delayed, causing a later arrival than originally planned.
