Two Young Men Injured in Head-On Collision with Tractor in Lod
Two men in their twenties were injured in a head-on collision between a private car and a tractor on Aharon Lublin Street in Lod on Thursday. One of the men sustained multiple abdominal injuries and was evacuated in moderate condition to the trauma unit at Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh) in Tzrifin. The second man suffered minor injuries to his lower limbs and was also taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Emergency responders from the Hatzalah organization, along with Magen David Adom paramedics, provided initial medical treatment at the scene before transporting the injured to the hospital. Senior medic Zvi Reichman reported finding both victims at the scene and administering care, emphasizing the severity of the abdominal trauma in one patient and the lighter injuries in the other.
