Hapoel Jerusalem to Host EuroCup Home Games in Belgrade Amid Efforts to Return Matches to Israel
Hapoel Jerusalem announced that it will host its home games for the upcoming EuroCup season at the Ranko Zeravica Arena in Belgrade. This decision follows the club's use of the same venue during last season's competition. The team emphasized its ongoing efforts to bring home games back to Israel, stating, "The club continues to do everything possible to return the home games to Israel, because there is nothing like seeing the arena painted red."
The team, coached by Sasha Obradovic, is set to begin its EuroCup campaign on September 29, 2026, and will conclude on January 13, 2027. Hapoel Jerusalem was drawn into Group A alongside Rostock Seawolves, Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana, San Pablo Burgos, Riga, Le Mans, Aris Thessaloniki, and Derthona Tortona. The club's announcement noted that the Belgrade venue will be used "until further notice from the competition management."
