Finance Minister Smotrich and Mayor Collaborate on $3 Billion Plan to Strengthen Jewish Settlements in Galilee

Ronen Plot, mayor of Nof HaGalil, met with Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich to discuss a comprehensive plan to bolster Jewish settlements in the Galilee region. The meeting took place amid the backdrop of a historic government budget allocation exceeding 3 billion shekels aimed at northern Israel, including significant tax benefits for residents of Nof HaGalil and other northern towns.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Mayor Plot presented Minister Smotrich with the symbolic key to the city as a gesture of appreciation for his efforts supporting the city and its inhabitants during ongoing security challenges. The key was displayed in a special frame inscribed with gratitude for Smotrich's work to strengthen Nof HaGalil.

Mayor Plot also congratulated Smotrich on the birth of his grandson, the son of his son Benaya, who was seriously wounded in fighting along the Lebanon border.
