Ashkelon Mayor Praises Finance Minister Smotrich for Historic Tax Benefits and Development Efforts

During a visit by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich to Ashkelon, Mayor Tomer Glam publicly praised the minister for his significant contributions to the city and the country. Glam highlighted Smotrich's unprecedented tax relief measures for Ashkelon residents, noting that no other Israeli minister had done as much for the city. He noted that average families in Ashkelon have received monthly tax relief of approximately 1,400 to 1,500 shekels, alongside billions invested in city development.

Glam acknowledged support from ministers across the political spectrum but stressed that Smotrich uniquely fulfilled his promises against all odds. He concluded by urging everyone to remember to appreciate the minister’s contributions during this critical time for Israel.
