Sa'ar Padida Nears Signing With Ironi Tiberias Amid Squad Reinforcements

Ironi Tiberias is actively working to strengthen its squad and is close to signing midfielder Sa'ar Padida. The 29-year-old, who attracted interest from several Israeli Premier League clubs after his contract with Hapoel Haifa ended, is now in advanced negotiations with Tiberias. Most terms of the deal have been agreed upon, with only a few final details remaining before the signing becomes official.

Padida started last season with Maccabi Bnei Reineh and transferred to Hapoel Haifa in January, scoring two goals across all competitions, including one in the league and another in the Toto Cup. Meanwhile, Ironi Tiberias awaits a decision from the Players' Status Committee regarding left-back Gal Ma'atok. The committee will determine the compensation Tiberias must pay Maccabi Petah Tikva after the clubs failed to agree on a transfer fee. Ma'atok did not participate in the recent Toto Cup match against Hapoel Haifa, but the club hopes he will be available for the upcoming game against Kiryat Shmona.

Additionally, Tiberias chose not to risk playing Ndjé Bachu due to calf muscle sensitivity, leaving him out of the squad for now. The club continues to focus on acquiring experienced players from the Premier League to bolster its roster.
