Sa'ar Padida Nears Signing with Ironi Tiberias Amid Squad Reinforcements

Ironi Tiberias is actively working to strengthen its squad and is close to signing midfielder Sa'ar Padida. The 29-year-old, who recently ended his contract with Hapoel Haifa, has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs this summer, but Tiberias is currently the frontrunner. Most terms of the deal have been agreed upon, with only a few final details remaining before the signing becomes official.

Padida started last season with Maccabi Bnei Reineh and transferred to Hapoel Haifa in January, scoring two goals across all competitions, including one in the league and another in the Toto Cup. Meanwhile, Ironi Tiberias awaits a ruling from the Players' Status Committee regarding left-back Gal Ma'atok. The committee will decide the compensation Tiberias must pay Maccabi Petah Tikva after the clubs failed to agree on a transfer fee. Ma'atok did not participate in the Toto Cup match against Hapoel Haifa, but the club hopes he will be available for the upcoming game against Kiryat Shmona.

Additionally, Tiberias chose not to risk playing Ndjé Bachu due to calf muscle sensitivity, leaving him out of the squad. The club continues to pursue experienced players with Premier League backgrounds to bolster its lineup.
