Nova Community Reunites Survivors of October 7 Hostage Crisis at New Concert Series
Nearly three years after the October 7 attack, survivors of the hostage situation at the Nova party are set to participate in the NOVA Live Concert events. The new concert series, organized by the Nova community and toMix, will launch on September 10 at the toX complex in Rishon Lezion. Following the We Will Dance Again shows held in Park HaYarkon over the past two years, this series aims to blend electronic music, trance, rock, and mainstream Israeli genres on a single stage.
The project is intended to continue the healing journey of the Nova community through music. The debut event will feature Omri Sassi, a Nova Tribe co-founder and DJ who performed at the party on the morning of October 7, alongside artists such as Astrix, Moonclipse, the Nova band, Amigdala, and Eitan Reiter, who will host Orit Shachaf and Tom Petrover from The Yehudim.
In an official statement, the production team said, "Almost three years after the events of October 7, the Nova community marks a historic and emotional moment: for the first time since the massacre, all survivors of the hostage-taking at the Nova party have returned home and are invited to reunite on the dance floor at the NOVA Live Concert launch event. This is a moment of closure, a victory of spirit, hope, and healing through music and community."
