Likud MK Accuses Mansour Abbas of Terror Ties and Demands Transparency

Moshe Saada, a Knesset member from the Likud party, has launched a sharp attack against Mansour Abbas, leader of the Ra'am party, raising serious questions about Abbas's past connections with terrorist organizations. In a radio interview on "Gali Israel" with Professors Moshe Cohen Elia and Shalom Mendel, Saada revealed that in 2018, Abbas traveled to Turkey and met with leaders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad. Saada questioned why the public was not informed about these meetings.

Saada further addressed materials uncovered during the recent fighting in the Gaza Strip, alleging that evidence suggests Abbas's affiliated organization, the "48 Association," transferred funds to Hamas. This claim has prompted an investigation into the matter. Saada concluded with a firm statement calling for a policy change, emphasizing that after the events of October 7, Israel can no longer tolerate such associations.
