Israeli Tourist Recalls Armed Anti-Semitic Attack at Crete Hotel

A group of Israeli tourists experienced a severe anti-Semitic attack at a hotel in Crete, Greece, when armed pro-Palestinian assailants targeted them. According to reports, the attackers came with the intent to harm Israelis, searching room by room armed with axes and air rifles. Dramatic footage captured by one of the young men inside their room shows a threatening nighttime gathering in the hotel courtyard and panicked voices inside the dark room warning each other of the approaching danger. One of the victims, Orel Hassan, who recorded the incident, described the attackers as visibly angry and hateful, armed with axes and knives, and convinced they had come to kill rather than play games. The fear was so intense that Hassan sent farewell messages to his family. Following the attack, Hassan and his friends immediately booked a flight and returned to Israel.
