Defense Minister Katz Orders IDF to Prepare for Additional West Bank Refugee Camp Takeover
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz held a security meeting on the West Bank with top military and intelligence officials, including IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, Operations Branch Head Itzik Cohen, Military Intelligence Director Shlomi Binder, and Central Command Chief Avi Blot. During the meeting, Katz instructed to expand offensive operations against Palestinian terrorism and to prepare for the takeover of another refugee camp, following the approach used in Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur al-Shams camps.
Additionally, Katz decided not to renew the restraining order against Tal Yinon Dradik, who is suspected of involvement in a nationalist crime in the village of Khirbet Humsa several weeks ago. Katz had visited Dradik in jail four days prior to the meeting.
