8,000 Participants Celebrate at 'One Heart' Summer Event for Special Needs Children in Holon

The annual summer event organized by 'One Heart' took place this week in Holon, drawing 8,000 special needs children and their families to a massive celebration. The event transformed 150 dunams of Holon's Peres Park and Yamit 2000 Park into expansive, joy-filled spaces tailored specifically for the attendees. The highlight featured a grand concert with renowned singers Shmulik Sukot and Moshe Dwek, accompanied by the Neshamah Choir and Maestro Benny Laufer's orchestra, hosted by Yaki Edmakar.

Months of preparation by producer Isaac Gefen, his team, and the 'One Heart' organization ensured a seamless experience. Hundreds of volunteers who support families year-round provided attentive care throughout the day. A large, air-conditioned hospitality tent designed by Yossi Rabinovitch of WOW Decoration offered refreshments, sweets, and drinks to thousands of visitors.

Rabbi David Weitman, CEO of 'One Heart,' emphasized that the event's true significance lies in the joy and comfort it brings to children and their families, not just its size. The organization also expressed gratitude to supporters Rabbi Nati Peretz and Knesset member Moshe Gafni for their substantial assistance. Knesset member Uriel Buso attended, delivering remarks and a letter of encouragement from Shas chairman Aryeh Deri, a strong advocate for special needs children.

As families returned home, they carried with them not only memories but renewed strength and happiness to sustain them throughout the year.
