Two Friends of Missing Israeli Man Eldar Dayan Detained in Investigation

Eldar Dayan, a 23-year-old man from Dimona, has been missing for over a week after leaving his home and not returning. As part of the ongoing investigation into his disappearance, two of his friends have been detained for questioning. One of the detainees is suspected of involvement in a fight that Dayan also participated in, while the suspicion regarding the second detainee remains unclear.

According to one friend, Dayan and he left the area of Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park and went to a nearby Paz gas station, where they parted ways. Dayan's mother has expressed doubts about this account, stating that the friend's version has changed multiple times since her son disappeared. The last known communication from Dayan was a message to his girlfriend mentioning he was involved in a fight and that "there is chaos here, we will talk later." Since then, his phone has been unreachable.

Dayan left Dimona last Tuesday with a friend but did not return home. His family is desperate for any leads and has urged anyone with information to contact the Israeli police. The investigation continues as authorities try to clarify the circumstances of Dayan's disappearance and locate him.
