Mateh Yehuda man, 65, critically injured after choking while eating
A 65-year-old man was evacuated in critical condition to a hospital after choking at his home in a moshav in the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council. The incident happened while he was eating, and he lost consciousness at the scene.
United Hatzalah teams carried out resuscitation efforts on site before he was transported to the hospital. Paramedics Menachem Weizman and Micky Gestwert said the man had choked during a meal and became unconscious.
He was taken to hospital while CPR and other life-saving treatment continued en route. No further update on his condition was provided.
