Israeli Security Cabinet Approves Deployment of Multinational Stabilization Force in Gaza

The Israeli Security Cabinet has formally approved the initial deployment of a multinational stabilization force in the Gaza Strip. According to the decision, the process will begin with establishing a central control outpost for the force in the Rafah area. This step is part of a pilot program under a broader peace plan for Gaza, aiming to manage the area under the oversight of a technocratic government and a peace council.

The international stabilization force (ISF) will take responsibility for maintaining control in Gaza, with the Rafah outpost serving as a preparatory phase for the full deployment of international troops. The plan includes rehabilitating the Rafah area and constructing temporary housing for Gaza residents who are unaffiliated with Hamas or other terrorist organizations. These residents will be relocated under Israeli supervision as part of the peace initiative.

This approval marks the first formal authorization for the ISF's entry into Gaza, reflecting a coordinated effort to stabilize the region through international involvement and controlled resettlement, aiming to reduce militant influence while supporting civilian populations.
