Ilana Rada Says Family Was Not Informed About Reopening of Tair Rada Murder Case
Two days after reports emerged that the Tair Rada murder case was transferred to the Tel Aviv District Investigations Unit, Ilana Rada, the victim's mother, stated that she had not been officially informed by any authority. The case was reportedly reopened last week, nearly 20 years after the teenager's murder in Katzrin and five years after Roman Zadorov's release from prison. "No official body has updated us; I learned about this from the media," Ilana Rada told ynet before attending the funeral of Zehava Shaul, mother of Oron Shaul. She added that she has not contacted the police since the report, saying, "It is not simple. I hope there are real developments behind this announcement, and I hope justice will be served."
