Moshe Feiglin Criticizes Israeli Policy on Palestinian Workers After Deadly Attack

Moshe Feiglin sharply criticized the Israeli government's policy regarding the entry of Palestinian workers into settlements in the West Bank following the deaths of Lieutenant Colonel Yuval Ezra and reservist Benyahu Malat in a recent deadly attack. Feiglin condemned the repeated cycle where Palestinian workers are banned after an attack but allowed to return after a period of relative calm, calling it a "stupid and bloody pattern" and a "moral and intellectual bankruptcy." He highlighted the inconsistency of closing worker entry to settlements while industrial zones and construction sites remain open with exemptions.

Feiglin argued that if there is a security threat justifying closures, action should be taken proactively rather than waiting for attacks. He described the current security measures as temporary reactions that fail to change long-term policy. Additionally, he criticized Israel's economic dependence on Palestinian labor, which he said undermines Israel's ability to maintain independent security policies.

Calling for an end to "terror management" and temporary fixes, Feiglin demanded a broader approach that includes full Israeli sovereignty over all of Judea and Samaria and the elimination of reliance on Palestinian workers. He emphasized that a sovereign state cannot wait for the next attack to protect its citizens.
