Kiryat Ata Signs Forward David Green After Standout College Career

Kiryat Ata basketball team has signed forward David Green, 24, until the end of the season. Green, standing 2.01 meters tall, joins after an impressive collegiate career, most recently at the University of Tulsa. In the last season, he started all 36 games, averaging 15.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game, shooting 49.3% overall and 37% from three-point range. His performance earned him a spot on the AAC First Team, the conference's All-Rookie Team, and the NIT Tournament Team. Prior to Tulsa, Green played two seasons at the University of Rhode Island, where he averaged 14.2 points and 5.9 rebounds in 2024/25, and 14.3 points with 4.2 rebounds in 2023/24, maintaining strong three-point shooting percentages.

Kiryat Ata's coach Eldad Bentov praised Green as a versatile power forward with a broad skill set, capable of scoring inside and outside, handling the ball, and playing post-up. Bentov highlighted Green's competitiveness, character, and hunger to succeed, emphasizing his potential and suitability for the Israeli league.
