Bobov school holds delayed Chumash celebration for two classes of boys

A festive Chumash celebration was held this week at the Bobov Hasidic Talmud Torah in Bnei Brak for boys who turned five. This year's event carried a strong sense of gratitude and completion, because it included not only the current birthday boys, but also children who studied there last year.

Those older pupils had been unable to mark the occasion on time a year earlier because of the prolonged war and Home Front Command safety restrictions, which then barred large gatherings and mass events. School administrators decided to give them the experience they had missed.

The result was what the article describes as a doubled celebration, with both last year's and this year's Chumash boys taking part in the ceremony at the Torah and Hasidism city of Bnei Brak.
