Two Men Stabbed Outside Manhattan Synagogue in Suspected Antisemitic Attack

Two men were stabbed outside an Orthodox synagogue on Manhattan's Upper West Side. The local police reported that both victims were taken to the hospital in stable condition and that a suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident. According to the Anti-Defamation League, one of the injured men was wearing a kippah at the time of the attack. Witnesses stated that the assailant shouted "Allahu Akbar" during the stabbing. Julie Menin, chair of the New York City Council, condemned the attack as an antisemitic stabbing and emphasized the genuine fear within the Jewish community. She stated, "Every New Yorker deserves to feel safe in their neighborhood regardless of their faith or identity."
