Samaria council honors Selait security chief who stopped attacker

Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan, together with Ephraim Brigade commander Col. P., awarded a civilian citation to Roni Damti, the security coordinator of Selait, after he shot and drove off a terrorist during the combined shooting attack at Kochav Ya'ir, Tzur Natan, Tzur Yitzhak and Selait earlier this week. The attacker had killed reservist fighter Haim Klomiti and wounded five other people before reaching Selait's gate, where Damti was on duty and opened fire back.
