Chief Rabbi Shlomo Amar Says Israel Nears Complete Redemption Amid Growing Divisions

In a special interview on Channel 14 during the Tisha B'Av fast, Chief Rabbi Shlomo Amar addressed the increasing divisions within the Israeli public. Contrary to despair, Rabbi Amar interpreted these conflicts as a clear sign that the final redemption of the Jewish people is near. He lamented that these forces have succeeded in creating strife but urged the public not to lose hope.

Calling for unity and love, Rabbi Amar stressed the importance of every effort to maintain harmony and affection among the people, noting that even small attempts in this direction are significant and can save. He concluded by stating that all the signs have been fulfilled and that only the proclamation of the prophet Elijah remains, signaling that the redemption is closer than ever.
