Iran's Revolutionary Guards Reject Ceasefire Offers, Vow to Defend Strait of Hormuz

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement on Thursday firmly rejecting all ceasefire proposals conveyed through intermediaries. The IRGC emphasized that Tehran will not relinquish control over the strategic Strait of Hormuz under any circumstances.

The statement came in response to remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump concerning the defense capabilities of Iran's nuclear facilities. The IRGC asserted that the fortified mountain site is highly protected, claiming that even American bombings like those used against Fordow and Natanz nuclear sites would be ineffective and futile.

Additionally, the IRGC addressed allegations from the United States and Israel that Iran had moved enriched uranium into tunnels within the fortified site. They warned that any attack on the nuclear facility would provoke a severe response from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
