The political party "Yashar" has decided to establish a private security detail for its chairman, Gadi Eizenkot, to accompany him during large public events and tours across Israel. Since Eizenkot does not currently hold a government position that qualifies him for official protection by the Shin Bet's personal security unit, the party opted for a private security arrangement.

The Shin Bet clarified its position, stating, "The Shin Bet is responsible for protecting individuals as determined by legal provisions. Eizenkot is not among those individuals."
