Toronto Man Charged With Supporting Hamas and Inciting Violence Against Israelis and Jews

Authorities in Toronto have charged a 33-year-old resident, Ahmad Hassan Hajahmad, with aiding Hamas and inciting violence against Israeli and Jewish communities during public rallies in 2024. The police, working alongside Canada's National Security Unit, allege that Hajahmad used amplification systems at events to promote hatred and calls for harm against these communities. A search of his home uncovered electronic devices that supported the charges of his involvement with Hamas and coordination with the group.
